Protecting your data is central to Reserve (the “App”). In short: all your data is stored exclusively on your device. There is no server, no user account, no tracking and no sharing with third parties. The App does not transmit any personal data to us.

With your explicit permission, the App reads (read-only) the following from Apple HealthKit: sleep, heart rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate. This data is used only locally to calculate your energy reserve and personal comparison values. No data is written back to Apple Health and no health data is transmitted to us or third parties. You can revoke permission anytime under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
The purpose is to provide the App's features (energy and symptom journaling). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR for health data), which you give on first launch and can withdraw anytime by disabling the Health permission or deleting the App.
The App contains no analytics, advertising or tracking services and does not connect to any servers of ours. No personal data is shared with third parties.
Your data remains on your device until you remove it in the App or delete the App. Deleting the App irreversibly removes all locally stored data.
The App is downloaded via the Apple App Store. Apple independently processes data (e.g. Apple ID, download history). We have no influence on this; Apple's privacy policy applies.
Under the GDPR you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. As we do not collect or store your data, we generally hold no personal data about you. For questions, contact the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
We update this policy when features or the legal situation change. The version published on this page applies.
Note: This policy describes a fully local App without data transmission to the provider.
